Welcome to the review hub for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: An open-world third-person action-fantasy game in which you play Geralt of Rivia, a “Witcher”, mutated and trained to hunt and kill monsters. It’s the third in a series of games as well being based on series of novels.

“In a war-torn world, with the Wild Hunt on your back, you’ll take on your most important contract — to track down the child of prophecy, a key and a weapon which can save or destroy all.” – The Witcher Official Site

The Witcher 3: The Wild hunt seems to be impressing critics around the world, pulling in a massive rating on Metacritic. The move over to a massive open world experience is being hailed as a big positive and seems to have been executed well.

International Reviews:

10/10 Gamespot The Witcher 3 is always in a crescendo, crafting battle scenarios that constantly one-up the last, until you reach the explosive finale and recover in the glow of the game’s quiet denouement.

9.8/10 GameTrailers In the end, it’s quite simply one of the best RPGs ever made.

9.3/10 IGN Though the straightforward and fetch-quest-heavy main story overstays its welcome, the option of joyfully adventuring through a rich, expansive open world was always there for me when I’d start to burn out.

8/10 Destructoid A huge step up from its predecessor, mostly because it manages to tell a more compelling and personal tale. At the same time, that intimate feel is juxtaposed against a gigantic, sprawling open-world adventure

Local Reviews:

9.8/10 SA Gamer Often when I finish a review game I am all too happy to consign it to a pile of games that I might play in a few years’ time. This game? I can’t wait to restart it on PC and try to do everything and see if I get a different ending. – Video review now available

9.5/10 Lazygamer – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an impeccable role-playing game, and one of the finest games ever created. Whether it’s as large as tracking the Wild Hunt or as small as delivering a love letter, The Witcher 3 makes Geralt’s actions count in the most incredible ways – creating a world begging to be explored for countless hours on end.

90/100 Telkom Gaming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, despite is flaws, is simply an RPG game that everyone should play and has raised the precedent of what an true role-playing experience should look and feel like.
