10/10 Gamespot The Phantom Pain may be a contender for one of the best action games ever made, but is undoubtedly the best Metal Gear game there is.
9.3/10 Gametrailers The Phantom Pain is excellent. It expands and enriches Metal Gear Solid without compromising the qualities that make the series so beloved – Watch It Here
10/10 God is a Geek It isn’t only Metal Gear fans who should be interested in this, everyone should be interested in this whether you have played anything like it before or not. Quite simply, this isn’t just the best Metal Gear game, nor is it just the best stealth game, it is one of the best games ever made.
Local Reviews:
9.4/10 SA Gamer It’ll likely be the last time that Hideo Kojima will have a hand in what happens in the Metal Gear Solid franchise and after all these years, since the early 80′s, he’s focussed on tying it all together to become one of the most endearing stories and moments of gameplay the gaming world has to offer and ‘This is good, isn’t it?’
9.2/10 Lazygamer The Phantom Pain is an unusual Metal Gear experience, one that not everybody may enjoy if they cling to systems of old. If they’re willing to adapt and accept this new way of exploring Kojima’s world however, they are going to be blown away, absolutely, and one hundred percent guaranteed. This new open world is one that is begging to be played with, in whatever way a player wishes.
Welcome to the review hub for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Metal Gear has been around for a really long time, and in that time it has jumped around timelines, delivered up crazy-deep political plots and intrigued (but sometimes also heavily confused) the masses with its iconic style of stealth gameplay, involved stories, lengthy cutscenes and quirky moments.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is pulling in huge scores across the board, with some outlets sayings its not only one of the better MGS games, but one of the best games, period. Words like that get thrown around plenty these days, but we all know that it’s totally something achievable by the living legend Hideo Kojima.
